Being a part of Computer Science department I have come to know a lot more about technologies, software companies, programming skills and much more. Microsoft as a well known and one of the largest and most influential companies in the personal computer industry has provided a platform to deserving officials to enhance the world of technology and science. Starting from the basics, if I talk about software and technology we use on daily basis, it has kept its place at heights.
Microsoft's important product lines are:
1. Operating System:
Now a days, every life somewhere and somehow depends on web. I use the internet on my desktop or laptop on daily basis to find something interesting, keep in touch with loved ones and to do a lot of job. Microsoft has provided us a basic and most important thing that serves as a base for all such jobs, i.e The Operating System, windows on our desktop or laptop. In India majority works on windows depending on their needs and choices among Windows XP/7/vista/8/8.1. The most efficient and user-friendly environment provided in these operating systems make them user's first choice.2.Windows Mobile:
Apart from windows on PC or laptop, it has launched mobile phones and tablets based on windows OS for ease to access and potability.3. Internet Explorer:
The default internet browser Internet Explorer launched by Microsoft is used to run complicated web sites and application easily and efficiently.4. Xbox 360:
Every young blood like me want excitement and something that kept them busy apart from their daily schedule, Microsoft Xbox 360 has done this job quite beautifully. A gaming station that everyone would like to enjoy gives world a new gaming experience.5. Microsoft Office Package:
In all, one could not forget about the most efficient and I think one and only till now, The Microsoft Office package. Office comprises of tools like MS Word, MS Power-point, MS Access and many more that are easy to use and comes with lot of functionality. This saves the business employee training time for basic functions such as word processing and emails.6. SQL Server:
The database is a key pillar of the Microsoft Server & Tools Business. SQL Server revenues increased 20 percent in fiscal year 2011. On tap for this year is SQL Server 2012, code-named "Denali," which will push the envelope in terms of support for business intelligence features and support for big data.
7. Bing:
It will be a long time, if ever, before Microsoft's search engine can unseat Google as the default search engine of choice. But thanks to Microsoft's partnership with Yahoo!, Bing has grabbed a 14 percent share of the search market, up 31 percent over FY 2010. Still, Bing and the rest of Microsoft's advertising and online business continue to lose money to the tune of $2.5 billion, based on revenues of the same amount.
Truly Microsoft has affected my life and way of my work. It has been a part and parcel of my life since my child hood, from my first windows Xp Pc to windows 8 laptops, it has revolutionized the way I used computers. Microsoft, through its products have made work very easy and fast, and helped all the sectors to develop. There is a big effort of Microsoft to bring the change in the way we used to work before, and the way we work now. From paper records to Microsoft Excel and Word, form paper presentation to Power Point presentation, from hard storage to Cloud storage, from machine language interface to Integrated Development Environments (IDE)…the change is highly profitable to all. From Computers (Operating Systems and other products) to mobile phones, for storage, infrastructure (ms cloud services), for net surfing (Internet explorer), for communication (Skype), for gaming (X Box), for software development (ms SDK)…and many more…we are used to work with Microsoft products.Actually,we can't even imagine the growth n development of IT sector without all this.

HOW WOULD I IMPACT SOCIETY BEING A MSA:
Technology and tools are the waste until you don't know how to use them. No matter how qualified you are or how important tool you have unless you use it.
My first priority being a MSA will be to make people aware of latest technologies and software so that they use them efficiently and effectively. To make them aware of merits and demerits of using any application and complete knowledge for productive use. This all can be achieved by organizing seminars and workshops at college campus and wherever necessary.
Now a days, one thing that holds all the things together is online storage or storing data over the cloud. Even when computers and memory invented people face difficulty in secure storage of their data as if somehow data stored in system's memory get lost, their was no way to get that data back but now we have Cloud storage that can create a backup of ones whole data over a cloud database and data can be recovered anytime if lost. Not only storage, their is advancement in data sharing and fetching of data from various sources.
Being a MSA, I would have power to implement my ideas on a larger scale, make people aware of Microsoft's products and technologies, make them aware of how Microsoft reached to the milestone of one of the world's most productive companies. I would like to work with Microsoft and want to become a helping hand in the development of new soft technologies.
It will be an honour to be a part of such a respectful and admiring company and I will make full use of my strength and abilities to pay justice to my position.
